Oasis of Shalom is very clean and well kept. It is located in an upscale neighborhood. The staff is great with communication and we text or call on a regular basis. Mom loves the owners, [names removed], and we do too. The move to the home went smoothly. We started with a personal visit before bringing mom to visit. We met the other residents and they all liked the place and had no complaints. Then we brought mom to visit and she just fit right in with the other residents and became immediate friends. She agreed that this is a great place for her. I think the move was just a few days later. We set up her room and she was all moved in within a week. She does miss being at her home, which is understandable, but she loves all the care and attention that they give her. We don't eat there, but the menu is displayed and the meals are all well balanced. We do know that mom had a problem with eating when she was at her own home and now she eats regularly. This place and the people are incredibly kind and loving. I think we will become life long friends.

Every employee that works at Ocean Cottage has been so kind to my parents and our family. There is no detail forgotten, and they are so accommodating. My parents love them all. My mom said it's almost like being on vacation.

The staff were exceptional at providing care for my Mom, staying in contact with me, and with providing a pro-rated refund since my Mom passed only 5 days after entering the facility. They were all very kind and supportive.

5 for all of them! The staff has a great love for the residents and their kindness and support is a beautiful thing to see. The Oasis of Shalom has become a part of our family. If or when I get to a place in my life where I need to go to a home, I hope it is a place like this.
