At Brierwood Adult Family Home, we encourage each resident to be independent, to maintain community contacts, and to pursue their lifelong skills and interests. Our Services and activities provide the residents with an opportunity to improve or maintain their abilities.   • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing & grooming, Dressing & undressing, meal preparation & feeding, Functional transfers, safe restroom use & maintaining continence, Ambulation, Memory Care & Stimulation)
  • Medication Management
  • Incontinence Care
  • Meal Preparation (Special Diets also available)
  • Three Nutritional Meals and In-Between Snacks
  • Laundry/Housekeeping Assistance
  • Pharmacy and Medication Delivery
  • Hair Services (visits on-site)

  • Podiatry Care (visits on-site)
  • Home Health: Registered Nurse, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy (visits on-site)

OTHER SERVICES:

Brierwood Adult Family Home has the ability to provide the following skilled nursing services by delegation:

  • Medication Administration
  • Simple “non-sterile” dressing changes
  • Blood glucose monitoring
  • Insulin administration
  • Oxgyen administration
  • Gastrostomy tube and feeding
  • Ostomy Care

IF NEEDED THE HOME MAY PROVIDE ASSISTANCE AS  FOLLOWS:

  • Monitoring
  • Encouragement

  • Moderate to Max Assist
  • Total Care


ACTIVITIES:

We provide our residents with the opportunity to participate in activities of their choice. These activities are designed to correspond with their needs and functional capacity.
