Dear Natty,
I am so thankful to God for guiding me to you as dad's new home & caregiver. You are one of a kind! I literally feel "touched by an angel" every time I am graced by your presence. Dad & I have been absolutely blessed by you, your son & aides. So much so that his condition is improving!
I can honestly say this is a miracle. I have you & your angels to thank! I can't thank enough or possibly repay you enough for how well you treat dad. I am just so grateful to have you in my life, Natty!
The spirit of the season, the light of the holidays, the joy of families and friends. May all good things be yours this Christmas and always.
Sincerely,
Lauren Applewood

Dear Natty,
We have so much to thank you for. You watched out for our mom so carefully and steadily, never accepting any less than the best care for her in every way. You always knew the details of her day-to-day health and kept us all up to date and involved. There are a lot of us, and you communicated with us well.
You stood up for mom when she needed you, like when you got her a good hospice nurse to replace the poor one - thank you.
And your house! Such a wonderful loving conscientious staff, especially Suzzette of course - and Joy, Bea, KZ - all always so cheerful there with the smiles & hugs. Tori's name on her door from day 1, the decorations and the sweet and lovely birthday parties making each resident feel special. We are blessed to have found you, to have placed our mom in your care, Natty.
With deepest gratitude,
John, Margie, Janet & Bob

Dear entire staff of Bellevue Haven,
I convey my most personal, heartfelt, thank you to everyone, there, who helped make my mom's final days here on God's earth a very hospitable, caring, and sustaining experience for her as she prepared to eventually meet her Lord, and Savior. From the moment I first visited your beautiful residence back in mid-December 2018, I will always remember the wonderful Christmas decorations in your living room that were displayed so nicely when my mom arrive there.
Your place immediately radiated that sense of "A REAL HOME" -- very intimate, nurturing, an overall beautiful atmosphere of trust and friendship. (I'm so pleased that mom had a chance to get to know "May", and occasionally converse with her!) I was also re-assured with warmth knowing she would be in an environment of Christianity; I immediately knew mom would now live in happiness with a staff that displayed such kindness, tenderness, warmth, and love (and humor, too!) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I was beaming with happiness on that first day.
Even though it was more difficult (as time went on, especially from late 2015) for her to communicate freely, I knew deep inside how appreciative she felt toward everyone on your staff. I remember how you made her smile with greetings like "auntie", "mom", & such. I was present sometimes, as I watched her facial reaction. Again, it made me smile.
Yes, of course, almost one week after she departed our family, I still feel heartbroken that my visits to see her at your home will no longer be a part of my weekly schedule. I feel the emptiness; I am still in disbelief, at times. And, of course, it is very painful to me, emotionally.
But I feel assured, relieved, and in comfort knowing that God, through your staff, made mom's last days satisfying, and free of worry. I also feel comforted as I remember the beautiful, heartfelt prayers you said to her in 3 separate sessions while our family was in the room. I was deeply moved, myself, knowing that she will now be in the peace, joy, and comfort of Jesus Christ. Thank you. That memory will be with me for the rest of my life.
Finally, I thank all of you by name (I apologize if I omitted someone, but that could be because I never met you) Natty, Sue, Marlene, Luce, Henry, Norman, and Felix. Special thanks to Henry, & Norman who were on the very night - early morning shifts, and were available to converse with me when I needed to talk to someone. Those moments meant a lot to me, as I needed the comfort, and solace.
Also, thank you for providing the extra food (various), and liquid refreshments. All of us are still praising Henry's pancakes! You sustained our energy levels. We appreciate it. I also enjoyed the afternoon breaks in your beautiful patio, and backyard. What a nice area for thought, and contemplation, & for relieving stress.
In closing, you made my mom happy, and content during her final days. I will always treasure the loving care all of you provided her. This will be a memorable chapter in my life for years. I can't thank you enough.... I'm so glad I had a chance to interact with a very professional, and compassionate staff at the "Bellevue Haven".
Take care, and God bless all of you.
Sincerely,
Brett Watanabe
